Empress

The empress is an exceedingly rare monstrosity. Standing a full head taller than even the mightiest changeling queen, she wields extraordinary magical ability, to say nothing of her immense strength and resilience. A queen among queens, if there are any left to rule when she rises. For an empress to ascend she must be driven to the very edge of insanity and develop an extreme hunger for all love - even that which other queens feel for their brood. With each conquest the defeated brood will yield to her rule, resulting in the largest swarms that Equus has ever seen.

The ruthless changeling queen Chrysalis has ascended. She is coming from the Badlands from whence she was banished, and nothing can stop her swarm.

Inspired by lots of artists and their takes on what a soup-ed up Chrysalis might look like. Don't get me wrong, I love the more gentle Chrysalis that we see in Changeling: The Movie and the Flufflepuff series as much as the next guy - but feral, hive mind Chrysalis is my favorite.
